🌟 Employee of the Month 🌟

A huge congratulations to our Employee of the Month Owen! 🏆👏

This month, Owen has been recognised for consistently showing reliability, commitment and a fantastic attitude towards his role. He is always willing to step in and help wherever needed and regularly uses his own initiative to identify and complete tasks without needing to be asked.

He is also a great support to his Room Leader, helping the room to run smoothly and always being willing to work as part of the wider team. His consistency and willingness to support others really make a positive difference to the day-to-day running of the nursery.

We are so pleased to recognise all of his hard work and dedication.

🌟 SOMETHING SPECIAL IS COMING… 👀 🌟
Behind the scenes at Your Nursery Ltd, we’ve been very busy making some exciting improvements to our Sensory Room!
We didn’t just give it a little refresh everything was taken out and the room is being completely redone, creating a purposeful space designed around the needs of our children.
We know that every child experiences the world differently. For children with SEND and sensory needs, having the right environment can make such a difference, providing opportunities to regulate, explore, relax, communicate and feel safe and secure.
Investing in SEND, inclusion and children’s wellbeing is incredibly important to us. We want to make sure that the children who need additional support have access to high-quality spaces and resources that genuinely meet their individual needs.
And we’re not quite finished yet… 👀✨

Our babies have been busy exploring the play dough with rollers and cutters 🥰

They enjoyed rolling, pressing and squishing as they explored the different textures and shapes. A lovely sensory experience supporting fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and curiosity through play! 🌟

Our 2-year-olds have been enjoying their Rhythm & Rhyme sessions 🎶

Through songs, rhymes, actions and repetition, the children are building their communication and language skills, developing new vocabulary, listening skills and confidence to join in 🗣️✨

It’s wonderful to see the impact this is having, with more children joining in, copying actions and using new words through their everyday play. 🌟

Carrying on with our All About Me theme, the children enjoyed measuring themselves and comparing their heights. 📏

We talked about who was taller or shorter, used lots of new mathematical language, and had lots of fun finding out just how tall we are! 🌟😊

A lovely hands-on way to develop our maths, communication and understanding of ourselves 🥰
