The House Captains of the Green End, Ladybarn and Cringlebrook tested out their navigation skills, fitness, teamwork, resilience and ice cream eating skills on Thursday 21st May in order to complete the Mersey Mission!
Buses and trains were navigated and almost 10 miles trekked along the Mersey in order to complete the mission and raise money for charity. They were all superb and should be very proud of themselves! Our Green End House captains have raised almost £600 so far for Maggie's charity. If you'd like to add to sponsorship, please click on the link below

Year 5 had an exciting visit to the air raid shelters in Stockport, where they discovered what life was like for evacuees during the war. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had great fun learning the wartime song “Run Rabbit Run”.
NE enjoyed their outdoor learning day. They used their 'be curious' mindset to go exploring for natural objects in the woods, the field and the sensory garden. They then used their nature finds to create art; working as a team to create a giant picture inspired by Andy Goldsworthy and then using their nature objects to make prints in their clay. We also squeezed in a scream race and some cloud watching. They had a wonderful time 🤩
