Happy National Children's Day UK! Today is all about the importance of a healthy childhood, which is why we want to give a big shout out to play today!

Play is critical to children’s health, wellbeing and happiness. We want every school to have a plan for play - find how we can make this vision a reality, here:https://childrensalliance.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/A-PLAN-FOR-PLAY-FINAL-ILLUSTRATED.pdf

Have we told you our exciting news????
We have only won the Tesco Grant Golden Ticket!!!!
This means we have a whopping £5000 towards our plan to produce our own food for our families at Button Lane. The children will be growing our own vegetables in our brand new green house and we now have lots of equipment for the children to use. Our chicken Coop arrived yesterday so watch this space for the arrival of our new students (chickens). This is only possible because of the kind donations through Tesco Groundwork

Just a quick reminder that we are holding a Nursery Open Afternoon on Wednesday 1st November at 3.15pm - 4.15pm.
Depending on demand, we are potentially looking at having a January 2024 intake, therefore if your child or if you know anyone whose child will be 3 years old between September and December 2023, this will be their opportunity to meet our Nursery team and look around our Nursery.
We are also inviting children who are not due to start nursery until September 2024.
Please invite your family and friends.
Thank you for your support.

Last week the kind staff at Galt Toys came to volunteer their time. They achieved so much from painting the playground equipment, reading with children, gardening, building planters, removing all the seats from the Science bus and much more. Not only did they give up their time but they were kind enough to donate a huge amount of toys and resources for our children. We want to thank all the volunteers and Galt Toys for their generosity. Thank you
