Bubble planet was well worth the visit we had a fantastic time.

Owl Babies… Shirley, myself and the children had a visit from Jodie, Nick and their children for a trip to Heaton park it was wet and cold but we made the best of it 😍 stories and props on a big fallen tree trunk. The big boys found a fantastic tree to play in they said it was like the tree in the book where the babies owls waited for mummy owl. We also walked the Easter trail around the lake, fed the birds and then into the cafe to visit Sarah have lunch and make some very cute owl masks.

Back in March myself, Sharon, Shirley, Jo and all our children had the most wonderful day at the allotments we were so excited to see we had frogspawn in the big pond, the children got the opportunity to have a close up look at some i collected in a jar, we talked about the life cycle of a frog, sang five little speckled frogs in funny voices, and the children made their own speckled frog craft. Lots of free play in the mud kitchen, painting area and lots of running around ❤️

A couple of weeks back we to a trip to Stockport to visit The Hat Works Museum we met up with the lovely Jodie, Nick and their children. The children love the role play area and get the opportunity to try on so many different hats in different colours, shapes and sizes. What makes the trip even more special for the journey on the train and tram.

Ending the week with a day in we planted up our tomato plants into bigger pots and planted a few more seeds. We read our ‘Tiny little seed ‘ lots of free play, music, colouring in and design our chick masks.

On Thursday we joined the Messy church session at the beautiful Manchester Cathedral the children had a lovey time the watched a little Easter film and then split bread and water with their friends they were all given a little paper heart to hold and say something they were thankful for and loved 🥰 lots of colouring, painting, reading books it was a lovely little session, next stop over to Manchester library first lunch in the cafe and then down to the children’s library for more Easter crafts and lots of stories.

I hope everyone had an amazing Easter break. With the weather being so beautiful on Wednesday we met up with Shirley and her children in the park, the children each designed their own boiled egg for rolling down a big hill we had so much fun during this activity. After the race was over ( a few races) the children stamped on, pealed and bashed the eggs to see the inside. We also fed the ducks played cricket and had a lovely lunch in the cafe. In the afternoon not only did the children get full of mud but so did Shirley 😂 you can’t take her anywhere 😂

Same park different day different activities we could visit the park all week and each day would be different on this day we were lucky enough to feed the highland cows, we fed the birds and squirrels, nature spotting, lots of walking climbing, running and having fun ❤️

Last Friday we had a wonderful time at National Football Museum story time session a story all about Pickles the dog. A fantastic, interactive, session full of songs and movement involving all the children big and small, the children also took part in a lovely craft to take home. Thank you so much to the staff and volunteers as always they were amazing.

What a beautiful day, roll on the warmer weather ❤️ the downside is the giant mud puddle will be dried up, we love mud glorious mud ❤️
