We finished the year off with some exceptional writing in Year 5! We created a ‘Writing Gallery’ where we played music and invited Mrs Denton to come and visit… She read our pieces one by one, and celebrated how wonderful the children are! Well Done Year 5!

We are so proud of Jozef! On Thursday, at the Year 6 Leavers’ Service at St George’s Church, he was awarded the Mrs Dunn award for ‘Shining like a star and never giving up’ - an award he very much deserves! Well done, Jozef!

What an incredible few days our Year 6 children have had at Brathay Hall! 🏕️🌿
Our Year 6s embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, courage and determination as they took part in ghyll scrambling, canoeing, climbing and hiking in the beautiful Lake District.
Throughout the residential, the children showed fantastic teamwork, supported one another, stepped outside their comfort zones and developed their independence and resilience. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they tackled new experiences and created memories that will last a lifetime.
We are so proud of them for representing St John's so brilliantly!
What an unforgettable adventure! 💙
