Are you still cutting fringes with your fingers? Cutting with a comb is better because the hairline often has irregular growth patterns. The comb allows for low-tension control, while using your fingers can create too much tension, leading to an incorrect shape.

We’ve noticed a lot of face-framing styles being requested in the salon. However, true face-framing layers aren’t just about cutting the hair one length and slicing some pieces at the front. Proper face-framing involves creating rounded layers that are shorter at the front and gradually get longer towards the back. It seems that some may not be familiar with this technique, resulting in a few flowing slices at the front while leaving too much weight at the back.
