There are over 30 peri-menopause symptoms 😬

Weight gain is one of them - most of us put it down to it being an age thing and think it's inevitable 😭

Well, it is an age thing in a way, as peri-menopause only happens later in life (to most of us), it is hormonal, and most of us will be affected by it.

That doesn't mean we are stuck with it for the next 40 years of our lives...😍

This was me, I was in denial, still trying to squeeze into my jeans, uncomfortable every day.😬

Buying bigger and baggier tops to hide my love handles - and to allow me to undo my zip on my jeans without anyone seeing....πŸ˜₯

I tried various diets and clubs but nothing worked

I ate "healthily" so what was going on?

When were over 40 being healthy gets more important to us, we buy healthier foods, we cook a bit more, we like the finer things in life. πŸ₯₯πŸ₯‘πŸ§€

This is all great but lots of other areas in our lives can change too....

We think were eating healthy but often we are over eating our healthy options, we're not moving as much as we used to πŸ–₯️ - anyone out there over 40 still busting their moves on the dancefloor for hours every weekend??? πŸ•ΊπŸ˜€

This is my Team, it's small but perfectly formed - my hubby and I.
He has supported my ventures into Health & Wellness both emotionally and technically (he manages IT systems and creates websites - thank heavens!! πŸ™Œ)

I also have great family support and great girlfriends who keep me sane and encourage me follow my dream - while keeping me topped up with a glass or two....🍷

I also have gained friends/mentors along the way, got me going with & a great mastermind group of women, I then found and did OTM this year which cemented lots of areas of my business, and last but not least for simplifying my life & helping me see the wood from the trees! πŸ˜‚πŸŒ²

No one can go it alone & I'm grateful for everyone I have in my life right now ❀️
