🌼 “But what if my child socialises differently?”
After asking you lovely lot what you’d like to know more about, I received some really important questions about additional needs, disabilities, sensory needs and how Bloom can provide opportunities for little ones to socialise alongside their peers. 💛
And I really wanted to talk about it.
Because socialising doesn’t have to look the same for every child.
For some children, connection might be joining in with a song or activity. 🎵 For another, it could be a smile, a movement, exploring through touch, sharing an experience alongside another child, recognising someone’s presence or simply becoming more comfortable in a group environment. 🥹
Connection doesn’t always need words, sight or sound. 💛
At Bloom, our classes include music, movement, rhythm, repetition, touch, sensory experiences, play and group activities, giving little ones different opportunities to explore and take part. And taking part can look different for every child. 🌈
There is no expectation for every little one to experience Bloom in exactly the same way.
We also know that every child’s sensory and accessibility needs are individual. What feels enjoyable and comfortable for one child may feel completely different for another, which is why listening to the people who know that child best is so important.
As I begin this new chapter at Bloom Toddler Classes Manchester West, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our families is incredibly important to me. 🌼
So, if your child is disabled, has additional needs or has sensory or accessibility needs and you’re wondering whether Bloom might be suitable, please talk to me.
💌 Send me a message before booking and tell me a little about your child, what they enjoy, how they communicate and anything that may help them access and enjoy the class in their own way.
You know your child best. 💛
And sometimes inclusion starts with something really simple…
Listening to what each child needs. 🌼
