Ben Davison has come under a lot of criticism after Itauma’s loss, but I don’t think the blame should all be put on him.

Hrgovic deserves a lot of praise for his performance. A lot of people had written him off going into this fight, but he showed why he is an elite fighter. His team came with the right gameplan and he executed it very well, using his experience, toughness and composure when it mattered.

For Itauma, this is a setback but he’s still so young and has plenty of time to bounce back. He’ll learn a lot from this fight and there are definitely things he can adjust going forward.

It’s all about how he responds now. 🥊

Bivol uses the lead hand to control the distance, keeps the rear hand ready to protect the chin, and stays light on his feet to get in, land and get back out.

Bivol’s probably my favourite fighter to watch when it comes to the long guard. The way he uses it to control range, set up his attacks and establish control is just 🔥

Whether you’re just starting out or sharpening your fundamentals, learning the boxing number system makes combinations easier to understand and remember.

Here’s the basic breakdown:

1️⃣ Jab
2️⃣ Cross
3️⃣ Lead Hook
4️⃣ Rear Hook
5️⃣ Lead Uppercut
6️⃣ Rear Uppercut

Master each punch individually before putting them together into combinations. Good technique will always beat rushing through reps.
