🚗🌞Our little learners have been busy! 🌞🚗

The children became motivated movers as they enthusiastically rolled cars down ramps. They were also logical learners, exploring colour by mixing paints and creating their own unique tracks and marks with the cars.

In the second part of the activity, the children demonstrated excellent independence and teamwork as they worked together to wash and clean the cars and tidy the tray. This not only extended their play but also helped promote self-care skills.

🌍🌞 Our Eco Schools Journey 🌞🌍

We have been proudly taking part in the Eco-Schools project here at our nursery, and it has quickly become a special part of our everyday learning.

Our children have loved exploring how we can care for our planet through lots of exciting, hands-on activities. From creating wonderful junk modelling masterpieces and going on bug hunts to learning all about recycling and discovering the different ways we help protect the environment in our nursery, every adventure has inspired curiosity and a love for nature.

We can't wait to continue our Eco-Schools journey, building on everything we've learned so far and discovering even more ways to care for our world together. 🌱♻️

🌞🐷 Three Little Pigs! 🐷🌞

We have been loving The Three Little Pigs story in Preschool!

Using one of our story sacks, we recreated the three houses using straw, sticks, and bricks. The children took turns "huffing and puffing" as they tried to blow each of the materials away, just like the Big Bad Wolf!

Throughout the activity, our little learners were experimenting, making predictions, and talking about why some materials were easier to move than others. They explored ideas such as weight, size, and strength while developing their language and thinking skills.

This activity also supported our well being, as the children practiced controlled breathing in a fun and engaging way. Taking deep breaths and blowing with purpose helps to develop self-regulation, body awareness, and breath control, all while bringing a favorite story to life!

🌞✨ MiChild Annual Awards 2026 ✨🌞

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of celebrating the MiChild Annual Awards 2026, and what an incredible evening it was! It was fantastic to come together with colleagues from across all of our nurseries to celebrate another amazing year, reflect on our achievements, and recognize the dedication and passion of our wonderful teams.

We are incredibly proud to share that, alongside being finalists in several categories including Baby Room of the Year, Nursery Manager of the Year, and SENCO of the Year, our team brought home two fantastic awards! 🏆

A huge congratulations to both Ashley and Lauren! These awards are a true reflection of the care, commitment, and enthusiasm they bring to the nursery every single day. They consistently go above and beyond to create a nurturing, inspiring environment for the children in their care, and we couldn't be prouder to have them as part of our team. Their passion, hard work, and dedication make a real difference to the lives of our children and families, and it is wonderful to see them receive the recognition they so thoroughly deserve.

We're also incredibly proud of everyone who was nominated. Being recognized as finalists among so many talented colleagues is an amazing achievement in itself, and it highlights the outstanding work that happens across our nursery every day. 💚🧡

And of course, after all the celebrations, we danced the night away Ibiza-style! 🪩🎶 A huge thank you to our senior team for organising such a fantastic evening. It was the perfect way to celebrate another successful year together.

🎉End of Year Party 🎉

This week we celebrated our Preschool children who are leaving us to go to school. Their journeys have been incredible with lots of learning, laughter, friendships, and growth!

Our children choose the theme of the party to which they decided on princesses and superheroes. The children created crowns and superhero masks. They also requested Elsa and Anna balloons at their celebration along with lots of other things.

We are so proud of everything they have achieved from learning new skills and making friends to building confidence and discovering their amazing talents ready for their next step into big school.

As we come together for this special celebration, we thank our wonderful families for their ongoing support and partnership throughout their child's journey.

We enjoyed a party filled with fun, imagination, music, dancing, and happy memories as we celebrated with our preschool children.

We wish them all the best with their journey to big school with so many exciting adventures ahead!
