£2 - One minute - That’s all we’re asking 🙏
We’re currently raising funds for a 2-night residential in the Lake District for 15 young people who wouldn’t usually have the opportunity to experience something like this.
To make it a bit more interesting…and to show how serious we are…one of us will be taking to the skies TODAY…in less than an hour…and jumping out at 15,000ft 🫣😅✈️🪂
You could help give a young person the chance to:
🌿 Stay away from home for the first time
🌿 Build confidence and independence
🌿 Form friendships and lasting memories
Think of it as buying Let’s Go! Mcr an Easter egg…but instead, you’re helping create something far more meaningful 💚
For many of the young people we support, opportunities like this simply aren’t accessible…but they can be life-changing.
If you’re able to donate, we’d be so grateful 💚

And if you can’t donate, a quick share really does help 🙏
Right…Stef’s off to go jump out of a plane 😅 Catch ya later with an update 😜

🌟 Supporter Spotlight 🌟
We want to say a HUGE thank you to our incredible supporter, Paul Chandler 🙌
Paul is taking on not one, but TWO marathons 🏃♂️💪 to raise money for three different charities - and we are so grateful that Let’s Go! Mcr is one of them ! ❤️
The money Paul raises for us will go towards helping to fund our residential trips, giving children the chance to experience new places, build confidence and create memories they’ll never forget ✨
This kind of support truly makes a difference to the families we work with, especially at a time when many are struggling.
If you can, please consider supporting Paul on his amazing challenge 👇

Our April schedule is live 🙌
Due to family commitments, it’s a slightly reduced schedule over the Easter break, but we’ve still got some lovely trips planned and a few new experiences we’re really looking forward to 😊
As always, we recommend making use of the waiting lists…they really help us see demand and shape future plans, and we do revisit popular trips wherever we can 😜
✨ A quick heads up though…many of the trips have already filled very quickly, but please don’t let that put you off joining the waiting list, as spaces can often become available.
We’re really looking forward to a lovely month ahead and seeing lots of familiar faces (and hopefully some new ones too!) 🤗

Last week we had 2 fantastic trips. The Play Factore and the Crystal Maze 💎
The first trip of the week was at Play Factore and it was exactly what everyone needed…sometimes nothing can beat running around unleashing that inner child that teens can offen hide away. There were games, challenges and lots of laughter 😆 The big slide was a favourite as always…I don’t think that will ever change 😜 It was just really nice seeing everyone relax, have fun and enjoy being together 💛
Then on Thursday, we headed to The Crystal Maze, which was actually chosen by one of our young people to celebrate her 13th birthday 🥳 It made the day feel that little bit more special and definitely didn’t disappoint 🙌 The groups worked so well together, got stuck into all the challenges, and there were some brilliant moments throughout…they even all came away with a very special exclusive medal each🥇🥈
Weeks like this are exactly why we do what we do…a mix of fun, confidence-building, and just giving young people the chance to enjoy themselves in their own way 😊 And we’re so grateful that trips like these are made possible with support from The National Lottery 💛

Rain didn’t stop us today!
We kicked off with pot painting at Haigh Hall, grabbed lunch in the café, squeezed in some park time… and when the downpour came, we switched plans and headed to Bolton Museum!
The Egypt exhibition was a huge hit and the aquarium was definitely a favourite too.
New friendships forming, plenty of laughter and another brilliant day out together. 🌟

Another brilliant day out last week... our very first visit to the theatre! 🎭
Horrible Histories in concert was an absolute hit from start to finish! With loads of laughs and plenty of audience participation, our young people were fully engaged and loved getting involved 😊
.. the energy in the theatre was fantastic! 🙌
After the show, we headed over to the foodcourt for some well-earned lunch before making a brief stop at Mayfield Park, where the group could burn off some energy, have a wander and enjoy a bit of fresh air and chat time 🌳🙌
Days like these teach confidence, curiosity, social skills, independence and real-world understanding... all the things that can’t easily be taught from a textbook.

🌀 Crystal Maze – A Let’s Go First! 🌀
Last week we had our very first ever visit to the Crystal Maze… and wow, it did not disappoint ! 🙌
Before heading into the Maze, we spent some time at the Science and Industry Museum, where the group took part in a really interesting interactive presentation. The young people were fully engaged, asking questions and getting involved throughout 😊
We then had a wander around the museum’s hands-on areas, exploring the exhibits, puzzles, and interactive displays (always a favourite!)
From there, it was time for the main event…
The Crystal Maze was absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in, it genuinely felt like stepping onto the set 🗿The challenges were just like the show, and the excitement from the teams was brilliant to see...we wish we could have taken photos but they wouldn't allow it 😕
Both groups had fantastic game masters who made everyone feel comfortable, confident, and fully involved... which made such a difference to the experience 💛
After all the problem-solving, teamwork, and crystal collecting, we rounded off the day with a visit to Mayfield Park for some fresh air, downtime and plenty of laughs 🌳
Such a brilliant day from start to finish 😊

✨ Hello February! ✨
We honestly can’t believe how quickly last month has flown by… and what a brilliant start to the year it’s been! 💛
January has been busy in the best possible way… trips filling up, lots of smiling faces, and so many lovely moments out and about with our young people. A huge thank you to everyone who’s joined us so far… you’ve made it such a great start to 2025 🙌
As we’re now in February, we’re getting ready to get stuck into another exciting month of adventures 🚐✨
Some trips have already filled up (again! 😅), but there are still a few spaces left on others for anyone thinking of joining us.
If you’ve been considering booking, now’s a great time… spaces don’t tend to hang around for long, and we’d hate for anyone to miss out 💛
Here are a few pictures from our last trip to Amazonia Golf 📸 What a brilliant day we had 💫
Here’s to another month of fun, friendships, and getting out exploring together… bring on February! 🎉
