Sub 3 Marathon Coaching

Great day as a coach…helping to his first sub 3 (2:58) in Tokyo 🇯🇵🏆
This is a goal Lorne has been working towards relentlessly and he absolutely smashed it! After the stress of his bags not arriving off the flight…combined with the inevitable jet lag it looked like it could be a tough old trip! Going out hard was a risky strategy but his belief and determination proved it was the right thing to do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A maiden Sub 3 Pádraig!!! - a brilliant 2:57 at the Dublin Marathon last week. After last year being struck down with COVID the week before you got your head down, grafted through another block and then finished it off!!! 👊🏻

Great day as a coach.. smashing her pb in Chicago by 13 minutes was thoroughly deserved. We debated for hours on the right pace strategy and she absolutely nailed it! Very few people negative split a marathon let alone run the last 4 miles progressively as the four quickest!! - That time was testament to her dedication in training and never giving up even when the marathon demons took hold!
