Dear Parents and Carers,

Introducing Our New "Under the Weather" Form

At Higher Openshaw Community School, we understand that there are times when children wake up feeling slightly unwell but are still capable of attending school and participating in their learning. To help us better support pupils in these circumstances, we are introducing a new "Under the Weather" Form.

If your child wakes up feeling tired, has a slight headache, tummy ache, or is simply not feeling quite themselves, but may still be able to manage a normal school day, we ask that you complete an Under the Weather Form before they arrive at school.

The information you provide will be shared with your child's class teacher and relevant staff members, ensuring they are aware of how your child is feeling. This will enable us to keep a closer eye on them throughout the day and provide any additional support they may need.
