🌈 We are looking for a positive, caring and motivated Room Leader and Third in Charge to join our nursery team.

🌈 Whether you already have experience as a Third in Charge or you're ready to take that next step in your Early Years career, we'd love to hear from you!

🪴 Last week, we continued exploring our topic - Growing and Gardens and this week we’re building on that with a new focus on - The Weather and the Sky! 🌤

🌳🌱 From having fun in our role-play Garden Centre, creating beautiful leaf artwork, and carefully watering the flowers in our garden, to exploring early maths by counting raindrops, painting fluffy clouds with puffy paint and learning new vocabulary like blizzard, sunbeams and breeze - we've been busy learning lots through play! 🌈🌤

🌈 Rainbow Round-Up - Our Topics in Pictures

🐞Last week, we explored the World of Minibeasts and this week we’re continuing along this theme with our new focus - Growing and Gardens!🪴

🌳From exploring nature in our lovely outdoor space to creating beautiful sunflower artwork and enjoying interactive play in our new roleplay garden centre, the children have been learning so much about nature and the world around us through exploration and play.🌱

✨️We just wanted to share a few special moments from these themes.

🌈 Over the past couple of weeks, our main topic has been minibeasts and nature. The children have been exploring and learning through lots of activities and circle time discussions.

🐞 During circle times, we shared what we already knew about minibeasts and learned lots of new facts. We talked about where they live, what they eat and how they move.

🔍 Outdoors, we went on minibeast hunts around the garden, using our investigation skills to find ladybirds, ants, beetles, spiders and more. The children were gentle showing respect, care and teamwork along the way.

🐝 We also got creative with minibeast-themed artwork, tuff trays and water play activities. The children used their creativity and imagination while learning more about the world around them.

Outdoors - Enjoyed painting with water, playing in the car wash and riding bikes.
Indoors - Had fun in their role play areas exploring the hair salon and pizza parlour.

🌧The Raindrops...
Outdoors - Took part in large scale painting, watered the flowers and washed the dolls.
Indoors - Practiced yoga, did mindfulness colouring and made rainbow artwork.

☀️The Sunshines...
Outdoors - Loved digging and building in their large sandpit with their friends.
Indoors - Had fun crawling through tunnels and exploring in their cosy tent.
