Great job 👏🏼

We are so lucky at New Moston that such a large majority of our families are so supportive. I would like to take this time to thank these families for this.

Unfortunately, a couple of incidents have been reported to me recently of concern.

- Parent/carers disagreeing on school premises and, more importantly, having these disagreements in front of children.

- The use of swearing and derogatory language on school grounds. We work extremely hard with our children to teach them that swearing is unacceptable in school and rely on the support of all of their safe adults being positive role models with this

- Families bringing dogs onto the playground. Dogs are not permitted on school grounds for health and safety reasons. Additionally, we have several children who are scared of unfamiliar dogs and this is having a negative effect on them.

I would like to remind you that failure to comply with these rules and policies may result in further action being taken to safeguard our children and families and to ensure that our school remains a safe place for all.

Year 6 kicked off Road Safety week with a fantastic live theatre assembly from Box Clever Theatre Company 👏🏼

‘Getting there’ was a funny, lively and thought provoking way of reminding us to keep safe on the roads by paying attention, wearing helmets when riding bikes, crossing over at crossings and much more!

This half term in Science Y1 and 2 have been exploring body parts and learning about what animals, including humans, need to survive and be healthy 🙂

We had a very willing helper 🤣👍🏻

This week, we traced the outline of a child and identified and named the fundamental body parts associated with each of the senses.

This week we went on a walk around our school.

Crucial Crew is a multi agency safety event designed to provide children with vital life skills and safety advice 😃

We are very pleased to welcome Talbot House to school on Friday 10th November at 9.15am to host a Coffee Morning for our families.

Talbot House is a charity which supports families of people with learning difficulties.
