Diversifying your portfolio (PART 1) When investing it’s important to diversify your portfolio in correlation to your risk tolerance. My portfolio is made up of index funds and REIT’s(real estate investment trusts) for example the S&P 500 and Arbor realty trust. (35% of my portfolio) Also a large percentage of my portfolio is huge blue chip company stocks like Google, Microsoft, and Apple; these all have solid fundamentals in regards to cash flow statements and balance sheets. (These make up around 40% of my portfolio) Then finally I leave 10% of my portfolio for more riskier investments such as short to mid term swing trades and 10% for crypto currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
