A little reminder, tomorrow is World Book Day. We are looking forward to celebrating "Reading For Pleasure" with the children. Children can come to school in a costume, or wear their PJ's.

Monday 2nd - Friday 6th was National Story Telling Week! To celebrate this in school we had a pop up library, the reading ambassadors used props and costumes to support the children on the playground to tell stories! KS1 took part in a workshop creating a rhythm for their story inspired by the book I am Nefertiti. KS2 created rap stories in a workshop led by Alim Kamara. The reading ambassadors also visited nursery and reception at playtime to tell stories to the children!! We had a fabulous time celebrating and loved sharing our stories.

We enjoyed a lovely first day back at school, beginning the term with an afternoon celebrating the Epiphany. We gathered for a special assembly led by Miss Hackman and the GIFT Team, followed by an Epiphany blessing from Father Pat.
Back in our classrooms, we took part in a variety of Epiphany-focused activities and reflections. It was a wonderful and positive start to the new term.

Advent is such a special time of preparation and reflection. Over the past two Mondays, our whole school has gathered to celebrate its significance, with Miss Hackman and our wonderful GIFT Team leading us and lighting the candles on our Advent wreath. Their special messages of hope and love have brought our school community together in a truly meaningful way. A beautiful start to our week. ✨🕯️

🎄 Our KS2 Christmas Production is back and it’s one you won’t want to miss! 🎭✨
This year our talented pupils will be performing, 'Straw and Order', a festive courtroom comedy guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit! ⭐️
