One of the best signs of progress?
A child choosing to keep practising after the lesson has ended.
This little chap had already completed his Reading Doctor session, but he wasn't quite ready to stop! Seeing children develop the confidence and motivation to practise independently is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Progress isn't always about test scores or certificates. Sometimes it's a child choosing to have one more go.
