Name: Joshua George Shipley McSevney, means saviour of gorgeous sheep 🐑
Fave Food: Lasagna
Fave Piece/Type of Theatre: Musicals
What has been the highlight for you on the Performing Arts Track at Regents: I think just how our lectures become way more than simply learning about theatre, or developing our acting skills - but that they impact our lives and we experience growth as individuals and as Christians.

Name: Corinne Ross
Fave Food: Anything with cheese on it
Fave Piece/Type of Theatre: Musical Theatre fanatic (and proud)
What has been the highlight for you of the Performing Arts Track at Regents: In my time here I’ve been able to take on roles that I never imagined I could make my own. The community we build and the friendships we form with our lecturers make it an incredibly safe space to step out of the box and try something new. I love that we are all for each other here and that has done wonders for my confidence.

Each Monday over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing everyone who is involved with our final assessment piece - from our class and cast, to our lecturers, writers, backstage extras, trailer editors etc! Creating a piece on such a large scale involves so many different elements and it’s incredible being given the opportunity to explore a variety of aspects of theatre throughout the course to enable us with the tools that we need to head into all kinds of roles within the creative industry.

Today we start with our Third Year performers!

Name: Sophie Harris
Fave food: Doughnuts
Fave Piece/Type of theatre: Greek Tragedy and Brecht are my favourite to watch and be in - however Hamlet is one of my all time favourite plays ever.
What has been the highlight of the Performing Arts Track at Regents: The community we build as performers and artists has been a huge thing for me, the support we give and receive from each other pushes us out of our comfort zones and helps to make us better actors.
