This week I took 17 of my GCSE Art students on a research trip to London! 🇬🇧 We visited the Tate Modern and National Portrait Gallery to gather some artist research, walked through parts of central London to gather photographs, and visited the graffiti tunnel. A brilliant day full of inspiration - and new friendships! ☺️🎨

Over the moon to have been shortlisted for not one but THREE National Tutoring Awards - SEND Tutor 2026, Home Education Tutor 2026 and Professional Tutor of the Year 2026. ✨
I’ve put my heart and soul into CreatEd over the last two years and care so deeply about what I do, and the families I work with. So it’s lovely for this to be recognised by professionals.

Toothpaste! A fantastic painting study by a previous GCSE student. Several of my current students are exploring 'the mundane' within their GCSE projects. When you paint something, you have to look at it differently, and suddenly even the most ordinary subjects become pretty fascinating!

Our Photography and Textiles enrolment opened last week, as well as one last Art group - spaces are filling fast but there are a few left!
I founded CreatEd in 2024 after deciding to remove both myself and my son from the mainstream education system. As a Home-Educating Mum of a SEND learner, I get it.
Unlike many traditional Art & Design GCSE courses that follow a tutor-led structure, we specialise in supporting SEND learners and recognise the importance of an adaptive, individualised approach. We believe this is essential not only for helping young people learn and thrive, but also for nurturing genuine creative development. Learners are guided by their tutor to create projects that are student-led and inspired by their own unique interests and strengths.

No expectation to have your cameras on or engage live - I am very happy for families to join with camera and mic off to just listen along and ask any questions they have over the chat. Although I am equally happy to chat!
