Congratulations to our Equestrian Team who competed Hickstead today in the Team 40cm event.

Juniper, Florence, Daphne and Edith did amazingly well to come 5th out of a large field of competitors.

Daphne P was amazing at the RDA Championships yesterday. She rode beautifully and managed to get 2nd in the showjumping and 3rd in the dressage. We are so proud of her - well done Daph!

A Magical Afternoon at Hanley Garden Play!

​On Wednesday afternoon, The Elms Nursery enjoyed a truly magical trip to HANLEY GARDEN PLAY 🍄 Outdoor Play 🍄

They enjoyed a variety of activities:
​Perfume Making: Mixing up some beautiful, natural scents.
​Water Station: Splashing around and exploring water play.
​Bug Hunting: Searching high and low for creepy crawlies in the tuff tray
​The Great Ice Rescue: Smashing blocks of ice to set the trapped bugs free!
​Diggers & Driving: Zooming around the garden.
And so much more!

​The garden was buzzing with life, and our pupils absolutely loved every second of this magical environment.

A huge thank you to Ria for having us. What a glorious afternoon!

Our final evening of the academic year was incredibly special. Our Year 8 leavers enjoyed a delicious supper that was lovingly prepared by our wonderful kitchen team.

The children and staff all made a huge effort to dress up in their best outfits and they enjoyed a poignant trip down memory lane with a video of photos from throughout their time here.

We are very sad to see this special bunch of year 8s leave, but we know they strive forward with The Elms values deeply embedded in their personalities and we know they will thrive at their senior schools and beyond. We look forward to hearing all of their stories.

‘God be with you ‘til we meet again’

The EPL was a roaring success on Wednesday afternoon. The bright team shirts, silly team names, well-prepared pitches, happy people and loud music all added to the fun.
The event saw the 6 teams play each other in some very closely fought matches and the final was incredibly competitive between the Beacon Bulldogs and the Colwall Chargers. The Colwall Chargers were the ultimate winners but every team had a champagne sporting moment and the children particularly enjoyed getting out the staff on the opposing teams. Well played everyone!

Well done to the younger year groups who all competed so well in the EYPP34 Sports Day yesterday afternoon.

The atmosphere was magical with lots of happy children, parents and staff and there was a lot of talent on show.
Congratulations to everyone for giving it all a go!

The year 8 leavers’ ride was a fabulous afternoon of riding in Treygoyd. It was a wonderful ride of cantering up hills, jumping logs and gorse bushes!
We saw wild ponies and donkeys along the way and to top off the evening we were treated to a lovely barbecue from our generous hosts
Thank you to the wonderful parents and staff for making it happen and to the amazing ponies 🐴
