We warmly invite all prospective students, parents and carers to join us at our Open Events on Wednesday 23 September.

Our morning session will run from 9.30am - 11.30am allowing parents and prospective students to see the school and visit classrooms during the school day.

Our evening session will run from 6.00pm - 8.30pm. There will be an address from the Headteacher in the hall at 6.00pm, which will be repeated at 6.45pm. You will be able to tour the school after each address, we will have information points around the school to help.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Meet our expert teachers

• Explore our clubs and activities

• Look ahead to GCSE options

The Headteacher’s address will be the same for all three sessions. If you have already joined us earlier in the day, we kindly ask that you leave evening spaces available for other families who may not have had the chance to hear it.
You need to book tickets to attend, whether you wish to hear the Headteacher's address in the evening or are choosing only to view the school.

📢 Our New Bulletin Format for 2026-27

As part of our commitment to clear and effective communication, we're introducing a new bulletin format this academic year.

Our new weekly bulletin will provide the key messages, important dates and essential updates that families need to know.

Alongside this, our Bulletin Extra, published throughout the year, will celebrate student achievements, school news and the wider life of The Chase.

We hope this new approach offers a clearer, more accessible way for families to stay connected with our school community.

A warm welcome to our new Year 7 students!

The weather may be a little damp this morning, but there's plenty of excitement as students arrive for their first day with us.

Today is an opportunity to meet tutors and tutor groups, explore the school, make new connections and start settling into life at The Chase. We know there will be a mixture of excitement and nerves, and we're looking forward to helping students feel confident and at home in their new surroundings.

We hope our newest students have a fantastic first day and enjoy the start of their journey with us. 💙

🌟 Good luck to all of our Year 12 students as they begin their work experience placements this week!

This is a fantastic opportunity to step beyond the classroom, develop new skills, build confidence and gain a real insight into the world of work. Whether they're exploring future career paths, meeting industry professionals or discovering talents they didn't know they had, we hope this week is both enjoyable and inspiring.

This year our students are gaining experience across an incredible range of industries.

We're recruiting - Assistant Site Manager

Are you practical, proactive and organised? We'd love to hear from you!

The Chase is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to join our dedicated Site Team.

This is a hands-on and varied role at the heart of our school, helping to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for more than 1,400 students, staff and visitors every day.

Working alongside our Site Manager, you'll help maintain our buildings and grounds, ensure statutory compliance, coordinate contractors, respond to day-to-day maintenance issues and support the smooth running of the school. From carrying out repairs and setting up events to helping deliver improvement projects, no two days are the same.

If you enjoy solving problems, taking pride in your work and making a real difference to the school community, we'd love to hear from you.

There was a real buzz around the playground this morning as we welcomed our new Year 7 students for their induction day! 🎉

Excitement was in the air as they lined up for the first time, met their tutors and tutor groups and got ready for a day full of new experiences, new friendships and new beginnings.

We hope today will give you a great introduction to life at The Chase and sets you up for a fantastic start when you join us in September. 💙

We are really looking forward to welcoming Year 6 students tomorrow for their Induction Day ahead of joining us in September.

They'll be spending a full day with us, getting their first taste of life at The Chase. The day will include meeting their new tutor groups, taking part in some lessons, exploring the school site, and getting to know some of the staff and fellow students.

We hope it will be an exciting, enjoyable day and the perfect opportunity to start building confidence ahead of joining us in September.
