Finding out you are - at whatever age - can fill you with lots of questions 💭

Especially if you've been told you have a 'learning disability', a 'learning disorder' or a 'learning condition'.

ADHD is often experienced alongside Dyslexia and the combination of difficulties can be particularly challenging. Clear assessment and comprehensive recommendations can instigate meaningful and impactful changes.

We're holding our FREE 'What does a good Education health and Care Plan (EHCP) look like?' training workshops in libraries across Worcestershire.

These workshops are aimed at parent carers in Herefordshire and Worcestershire who are currently going through the EHC assessment process or who have a draft EHC plan. It will also be useful to those attending Annual Reviews and looking to update and amend the plan.

What content should an Education Health & Care Plan have?
How to request amendments to the plan
Annual Reviews
Useful Resources
The sessions will be interactive to enable you to ask questions.

A positive step towards accessibility we hope. The system has moved on over time. It looks as though reading from a static page and demonstrating understanding via written responses using a pen 🖊️ will be less of a barrier sometime soon(ish!).
