Castlemorton Primary School

Wow! What a performance! Castlemorton Primary School spent an incredible evening performing with 1000s of other primary school children Birmingham Resorts World Arena for Young Voices 2025 - the world’s largest children’s choir concerts. An amazing experience singing alongside MC Grammar Tommy Blaize and Souparnika-Sou as well as professional dancers, singers and a live band. A day they’ll remember for a long time! A huge thank you to all the staff that put so much energy and time into making it possible.

This year, we have proudly contributed to the Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival with a tree decorated entirely by our talented Yellow and Green Class children.

Inspired by the natural beauty of our surroundings, our decorations were handmade from wood that the children carefully cut during Forest School sessions. The process involved teamwork, creativity, and developing practical skills, with children shaping snowmen and Santas from the wood they collected.

Our tree now stands among many others in the cathedral, showing not only the children’s creative talents but also our commitment to sustainability and hands-on learning. If you visit the festival, which runs until January 7th, we hope you’ll spot our tree and feel the love and care that went into its creation.

We’ve had a lovely morning at Hanley Swan Primary School performing two Wind in the Willows concerts to 120 children and then in the afternoon at Castlemorton Primary school where we performed two Nutcracker concerts to 88 children.

Huge thanks to @vestre_furniture for supporting our local primary school to create inspiring social seating places. Vestre kindly supplied the 3 tier ‘Stoop’ in @castlemortonprimary sky blue (with BD as sponsors) and were super generous in gifting a timber ‘April’ bench and ‘April Go’ seat for the school playground – the children as pictured are enamoured! These new seating spaces in the school grounds create quieter pockets for rest and contemplation with views to the historic ‘tump’ for the bench + more vibrant social gathering on multi levels offering space to come together on the stoop.
