Class 1 Spa... We made lemonade and relaxed with our feet in cold water and cooling cucumber on our eyes 👀 😎

Salon water play, shadow drawing, ice cream and lots of calm activities in tbe shade and by the fam today for Class 1. The children have been amazing 👏 🌞

Y5 are keeping cool whilst working hard in maths today.
Y6 are enjoying their Magic of Science day at Malvern College

Thank you so much to class 1, Miss Simpson and Mrs Adams for an absolutely fantastic week. In English, we have been working hard to learn the story of Mr Gumpy’s motor car. By Friday, we had split the story into 5 parts and created our own storybook. In maths, we have been reinforcing our understanding of the value of numbers from 11-20. In topic, we have been learning about modes of transport and how they’ve changed. The children then worked with y6 to create a model car to drive.
Class 1, I will miss you next week! However, I’m also super excited to see my year 5 and 6, who have returned from arête with memories to last a lifetime. I can’t wait to hear all about it tomorrow.

With the increasing forecast temperatures on Monday & Tuesday and an amber weather warning now in place - children are allowed to wear their PE kit next week if they wish OR whatever is coolest.
