Week 2 at the Championships saw our Novice Dressage team compete. Eliza, Vita and Eleanor enjoyed the experience in some hot competition.

Eliza came back again for the Novice Dressage to Music - her and Sammy danced to a Queen medley to finish just outside the placings having a really lovely time.

Eleanor jumped in the 100 SJ. It was a big track where clear rounds were premium. Eleanor and Hugo jumped well for an unlucky pole gave her 4 faults in the first round and a beautiful clear in the second round.

Henry was our sole representative in the eventing. He managed to contain Stormzy in the dressage! The show jumping proved quite pesky! However, the cross country was proving testing with faults across the board. Stormzy rose to the occasion and jumped a lovely clear round leaving us all smiling!

It’s been a long 2 weeks at the championships. Our members have tried their best, had fun, made friends and gained valuable experience for the future!

☀️☀️☀️What a fabulous weekend!! ☀️☀️☀️

We have a NATIONAL CHAMPION! Well done Anna! We are so proud of you and know you have worked so so hard!

🥇Anna won the Intermediate Girls with Rosie 5th after fantastic runs. Both girls getting a 1400 ride over tough tracks. 🤩

Alice went well in the Open. Henry finished top 20 in the Junior Boys with one of only 5 1400s in the section. 🤩

Eliza was part of the Northern England Stepping Stones team who finished 3rd, herself 9th individually with PB swim and run plus a 1400 ride! 🤩

Our Senior Games team have also been busy! Amelia and Bella were 13/24 in a very hot pairs competition. Then our Senior team of Bella, Amelia, Jessica, Anna and James finished 7th in their Senior Session. They worked hard against tough competition with good accuracy. 🤩

All the kids and parents enjoyed the party too! 🥳🥳🥳

☀️This weekend Anna, Rosie, Alice and their horses traveled all the way down to Pontispool in the south west for the senior international tetrathlon. ☀️

On the Friday they shot and swam at Taunton school. 🔫🏊

🐴Saturday was the riding day where they tackled a big, challenging course and Alice was one of the 9 competitors out of the 84 girls and boys who managed to get a 1400 ride score, an achievement to be very proud of for her and Missy. Anna and Rosie both rode well to finish on good scores.

That evening the competitors were treated to a dinner dance (the parents were also allowed to come along!) everyone had a fantastic night.

🏃🏼‍♂️The following morning they completed the final phase- running - held over the cross country course. It was a scorcher and they all got cooled off with a bucket of water at the end! 💦

Three good runs meant they all placed in the top 25. Anna’s team the ‘Northern Angels’ won the regional team competition where she received some amazing prizes. 🥇

All in all the long journeys were worth while!

✨ Mini/ Junior Pony Club Camp 2026 ✨

Three fantastic days of sunshine, ponies, fun, and unforgettable memories! ☀️🐴

From riding and learning so much with our amazing instructors, to stable management, musical rides, treasure hunts, tetrathlon, swimming, BBQs, pizzas, discos, games, and plenty of laughter, there was something for everyone to enjoy. New friendships were made, confidence grew, and wonderful memories were created both in and out of the saddle.

This weekend, Henry and Stormzy headed to Punchestown for the Junior Tetrathlon Championships. What a great location in the beautiful surroundings of Punchestown Racecourse, complete with hot shower!!

Saturday was a busy day with them undertaking a Tri. Shoot was on the Irish targets in a typical noisy Irish atmosphere! Henry produced a PB swim so we were all smiles. The run was up and down the length of the Punchestown home straight, with a tough pull to the finish…..he survived! It was not the phase we had come for!

Sunday brought the ride over the famous big, bold and technical Punchestown cross country. The course was beautifully presented and involved an Irish Bank, multiple drop fences, 2 water complexes, multiple skinny brushes and a sizeable steeplechase fence to finish! It certainly caused some trouble! Stormzy and Henry went really well to jump clear earning the much coverted 1400.

Overall, a fantastic, fun-filled trip, enjoyed by competitors and parents / support crew alike. Tetrathlon is a great sport to have fun and make friends from across the country.

Our older members have had the most fantastic time camping at Epworth Equestrian Ltd! 🏕️🐴

They had so much fun with friends and ponies, learnt loads, played plenty of games, and even squeezed in some mammoth matches of rounders and cricket. The water fights were huge — and Human Hungry Hippos was definitely a highlight!

A huge thank you to BATA Ltd for providing the brilliant goody bags - they were a big hit especially the sunglasses!
