🍂 HELLO AUTUMN! 🍂

We’ve kicked off the new season at Lou Lou’s with some lovely conkers! 🌰

I loved seeing how differently the children explored them depending on their age and stage…

🌰 Our youngest were busy touching, holding and exploring.

🌰 Our toddlers loved taking them in and out of the bowl again and again! 😆

🌰 And our oldest were busy counting them and developing their early maths skills.

One simple bowl of conkers, but so many learning opportunities! 🧡

The builders are on site at Lou Lou’s and they mean business! 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Serious building plans ✔️
Health & safety supervisors… questionable 😂

No hard hats required when you’ve got this much confidence! 😆🧱

HOW GOOD ARE WE AT COUNTING?! 🍎

Well… there was A LOT of counting going on today! 😂🔢

First up, we counted all our apples… 🍎🍎🍎

Then came the big question…

“How many apples long do you think YOU are?” 🤔

We made our predictions, lay down and then got busy making a long line of apples from head to toe!

And then… COUNT! COUNT! COUNT! 😂

We had so much fun finding out who was the longest, who was the shortest and comparing more and less along the way.

Who knew apples could be so good for maths?! 🍎😂

🌟 WHAT A LOVELY START TO TERM! 🌟

A huge well done to everyone for such a wonderful first week back!

Our new little faces have been absolutely amazing, settling in, exploring and finding their feet so beautifully. 🥰

And our OGs have been brilliant too! They’ve been fantastic at welcoming their new friends, showing them the ropes and helping make our setting feel like home again. 🐻✨

We are so proud of every single one of you! 💕

That’s a wrap on another amazing year!

What a year it has been filled with laughter, learning, friendships and so many special memories. From first steps and new words to writing names, exploring, creating, dancing and growing together — we are so proud of every single child. 💕

It’s always a little sad saying goodbye to the children heading off on their next adventure at school, but we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved. We know they’ll all do amazingly well! 🎓💛

As we say goodbye to some familiar faces, we’re also so excited to welcome our new starters in September and can’t wait to begin making new memories together.

We’re now taking summer break and will be welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 1st September ready for another exciting year of fun, learning and adventures.

🎪🦋 Little Fest 2026… what a day! 🦋🎪

What an incredible first Little Fest! 🌈 From bubbles and dancing to face painting, glitter, tattoos, games and our surprise Little Fest Sweet Shop 🍭🍬… every moment was filled with smiles, laughter and happy little faces!

The children threw themselves into every activity, danced their hearts out and completely embraced the festival vibes. Watching their excitement as they collected their butterfly stickers and explored each station made all the planning worthwhile. 💜

A huge thank you to Freya for your amazing face painting and tattoo skills – the children absolutely loved them! 🎨🦋

And another massive thank you to our fantastic helpers Lucy, Harrison and Jasper. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we really appreciate all your help! 🌟
