🎪🦋 Little Fest 2026… what a day! 🦋🎪

What an incredible first Little Fest! 🌈 From bubbles and dancing to face painting, glitter, tattoos, games and our surprise Little Fest Sweet Shop 🍭🍬… every moment was filled with smiles, laughter and happy little faces!

The children threw themselves into every activity, danced their hearts out and completely embraced the festival vibes. Watching their excitement as they collected their butterfly stickers and explored each station made all the planning worthwhile. 💜

A huge thank you to Freya for your amazing face painting and tattoo skills – the children absolutely loved them! 🎨🦋

And another massive thank you to our fantastic helpers Lucy, Harrison and Jasper. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we really appreciate all your help! 🌟

A little splash before the hosepipe ban! ☀️

We thought we’d squeeze in a little sprinkler fun while we still could! 😜 The children had an absolute blast cooling off and practising their number recognition at the same time.

☀️ Heatwave – Day 5 ☀️

We made it! What a week it’s been! 🥵

Today’s water play was all about experimenting and exploring. The children loved scooping colourful balls with cups before pouring them down our homemade water slide to see which colour reached the bottom the fastest! 🌈💧

Our beautiful butterflies were treated to fresh orange slices placed around the garden, and after a busy week, everyone enjoyed some well-earned time relaxing on the loungers too! 🦋🍊😎

This week has been filled with hydration breaks, endless water play, plenty of shade, regular sun cream top-ups, lots of sweaty faces, rosy cheeks, giggles and so much fun. ☀️💙

A huge well done to all of our amazing children , you have absolutely smashed this heatwave! We are so proud of how well you’ve kept smiling, stayed hydrated and looked after one another. ❤️👏

Now… let’s all hope for a slightly cooler weekend! 😅🌦️

☀️ Heatwave Fun – Day 4☀️
Another hot one today, so we kept cool with a wonderful water sensory tray filled with ice, water balls, syringes, funnels and sieves. The children loved exploring, pouring, scooping and investigating how the ice changed throughout the day 💦
It was also a very exciting day as our caterpillars have now emerged from their chrysalides and become beautiful butterflies 🦋 The children helped prepare some tasty treats with oranges and sugary water for our butterflies, as well as making extra butterfly food for the visitors in our garden.
Our guinea pigs weren’t forgotten either! They enjoyed icy water and refreshing cucumber treats to help keep them cool and comfortable 🐹🥒
As always, we had plenty of hydration breaks, shady play and lots of opportunities to stay cool while having fun. The children have been absolute superstars throughout this heatwave ☀️

☀️ Heatwave Day 3 ☀️

Well… that was a HOT one! 🥵

Thankfully we kept cool with lots of bubbles, splashing fun, plenty of hydration breaks and, of course, an ice lolly break that was very much needed! 💦🍦

The children also got creative with some beautiful butterfly symmetry paintings 🦋🎨

We are so proud of how brilliantly the children have coped with the heat this week.

Now let’s see what Day 5 brings… hopefully with a little less melting! 😂☀️

☀️ Heatwave Day 2 ☀️

Another fun-filled day keeping cool 🥵

The children loved cooling off with the super soakers, exploring ice play under our shaded gazebo, and creating some beautiful butterfly crafts 🦋. We made sure to enjoy plenty of hydration breaks throughout the day, and an ice lolly treat was the perfect way to stay cool! 🍦💙

First day of the heatwave ☀️💦

We beat the heat with a shady car wash before the sun got too strong, plenty of hydration breaks, and an ice lolly stop that was definitely today’s favourite! 🍦🚗💧

Lots of smiles, lots of fun, and lots of keeping cool! 😎☀️
