I have been in childcare for nearly 30 years! I am NNEB qualified (NVQ L3 equiv). I have been caring for other people's children for nearly 30 years(!).

I offer professional 'home from home' childcare which in my opinion is the best form of childcare for babies and small children. I started my working life in 1992 as a Nanny working for some amazing families over the years, including a position at Benenden Girl's School and working for British Diplomats on a home posting. At the height of my career I interviewed for Jemima Khan and to care for the

For those new to my page, let me introduce myself. I run a very small childcare setting in Barming, near Maidstone. I am NNEB qualified and have worked as a Private Nanny and then Childminder since I left college in 1992. My own 2 children are grown up now but I still love educating little minds and helping them grow 🌻

We have a playroom indoors and a shady, dedicated outside play area. We have various groups and activities we love to attend, including visiting the local farm and library. I do not do any school runs, little ones only here and it will only ever be me you and your child have contact with. Children start coming to me aged 1 or under, I can claim government funding and accept payments through tax free childcare.

I have a space available from September, please feel free to get in touch to discuss your childcare requirements or share with friends & family who may be interested. 😊

Update: Thank you for all the impromptu comments from past parents, so lovely to read and I’m sure give new parents confidence when facing the challenge of choosing a setting for their little one. ☺️

I write this watching sideways rain and choppy seas on my holidays in Cornwall! 🌊 😅 Silly of me to pack suncream and sunglasses, at least there’s fish and chips and pasties to look forward to! …Roll on summer! 😎
