Pregnancy can sometimes feel like your body is changing faster than you can keep up with.
Â
Learning to slow down and tune in can make such a difference.
Â
At Mums in Motion Pregnancy, we focus on:
Â
â¨Â Gentle strength and movement
â¨Â Breathing and body awareness
â¨Â Supporting common pregnancy discomforts
â¨Â Building confidence in your changing body
Â
You donât need to âpush throughâ pregnancy.
Â
You deserve movement that supports you. đ¤

âWhy does my body feel so unfamiliar right now?â
Â
Pregnancy can be such a strange experience.
Â
Your body is changing constantly.
Â
One day you feel like yourselfâŚ
Â
The next, your movements feel different, your energy changes, and youâre suddenly aware of every ache and sensation.
Â
You might find yourself thinking:
đ âIs this normal?â
đ âShould I be doing more?â
đ âWhy do I not feel like myself?â
Â
The truth is â pregnancy asks you to build a whole new relationship with your body.
Â
Not one based on pushing through.
Â
One based on listening, adapting, and trusting the signals your body is giving you.
Â
This week weâre talking about the mind-body connection during pregnancy â and how gentle movement, breathing, and awareness can help you feel more comfortable and confident as your body changes. đ¤

One thing I didnât expect from strength training after becoming a mum was how much it would help my confidence.
Â
Not confidence because I looked different.
Â
Confidence because I felt capable.
Â
Capable of carrying Charlotte.
Â
Capable of handling challenges.
Â
Capable of looking after myself as well as everyone else.
Â
For me, strength has never really been about the weights.
Â
Itâs about what those weights represent.
Â
Resilience.
Â
Capability.
Â
Trust in yourself.
Â
And motherhood has only reinforced that lesson đ

One of the biggest changes I see in mums isnât how much weight they can lift.
Â
Itâs how they carry themselves.
Â
They stand taller.
Â
They move with more confidence.
Â
They stop apologising for taking up space.
Â
They trust themselves more.
Â
Thatâs because strength has a ripple effect.
Â
When you feel stronger physically, it often changes how you approach challenges outside the gym too.
Â
And thatâs something worth celebrating đ

Forget fitness tests.
Â
Letâs talk motherhood strength tests đ
Â
â Survived a public toddler meltdown
â Functioned after broken sleep
â Found a missing shoe in under 30 seconds
â Ate a meal while it was still hot
â Left the house on time
Â
If youâve ticked any of these recently, youâre stronger than you think đŞ
Â
How many boxes are you ticking this week?

When people hear âstrength trainingâ, they often think of weights and workouts.
Â
But for mums, strength is much bigger than that.
Â
Itâs physical.
Â
Itâs emotional.
Â
Itâs mental.
Â
At Mums in Motion, weâre not just helping you get stronger muscles.
Â
Weâre helping you build confidence, resilience, and trust in your body again.
Â
Because motherhood asks a lot of you.
Â
You deserve to feel capable meeting those demands.
15/06/2026
Strength isnât just about muscles.
Â
After having a baby, many mums donât just lose confidence in their body â they lose confidence in what their body can do.
Â
You might second-guess yourself.
Â
Wonder if youâre doing exercises correctly.
Â
Feel nervous lifting heavier things.
Â
Or simply not feel as capable as you once did.
Â
That loss of confidence can affect far more than fitness.
Â
Because feeling strong isnât just physical.
Â
Itâs knowing your body can support you through everyday life.
Â
The good news?
Â
Confidence can be rebuilt.
Â
And often it starts with small moments where you realise:
Â
âActually... I can do this.â đ
