🏴‍☠️⚓ Ahoy, me hearties! It’s Pirate Day! ⚓🏴‍☠️
We’ve had a swashbuckling day full of pirate adventures! 🏴‍☠️✨

Our amazing staff got into the spirit and dressed up as a crew of colourful pirates, while the children enjoyed listening to exciting pirate stories and setting off on a very important mission… digging for buried gold! 🪙💰

There were plenty of treasures to discover, lots of imagination, and of course, a few cheeky pirates along the way! ☠️

What a fantastic day of fun, laughter and adventure! 🏝️🦜⚓

🍂 Our learning for Week 5! 🍁

We’ve been building on our autumn curriculum with lots of lovely, hands-on learning experiences! The children have been busy exploring the colours, textures and treasures of autumn through a variety of creative activities.

🍁 We’ve been out on our autumn walks, looking closely at the changes happening around us and collecting natural treasures.

🎩 We then used our ideas and creativity to make our very own autumn hats, choosing colours and materials inspired by the season.

🌳 We’ve also been enjoying the story of Stick Man, creating our own Stick Man drawings and talking about the characters and adventures in the story.

🎨 And of course, we couldn’t resist getting messy with some leaf painting! The children experimented with different shapes, colours and textures to create some beautiful autumn artwork.

It’s been wonderful seeing the children’s imaginations grow as they learn through play, stories, nature and creativity. 🍂❤️

🍂🍁 Continuing with our Curriculum Focus this week we have been learning about Autumn! 🍁🍂

Today, our Baby Room and Pre-School Room joined together for a lovely Autumnal Walk around the School Site! 🌳🍂

The children enjoyed exploring the outdoors and discovering all the wonderful signs of Autumn around us. We looked at the changing colours of the leaves, listened to the sounds around us and enjoyed collecting some of nature’s treasures along the way. 🍁🌿

It was a wonderful opportunity for our youngest and oldest children to explore together, learn from one another and enjoy the beauty of the season. 🧡

What a lovely way to continue our Autumn adventures! 🍂✨

🌟 Four Weeks Into Our Curriculum! 🌟

We can’t believe we are already four weeks into our curriculum! Our Pre-school children have been busy learning all about “All About Me” and discovering more about themselves and their bodies. 🧒👧❤️

Last week, we focused on our bodies, learning the names of different body parts and having a go at labelling them. The children have been fantastic at remembering and identifying different parts of the body! 👀👃👂🦵🖐️

One of our children even surprised us with their knowledge by telling me that we have bones in our head, underneath our brain! 🧠🦴 What a fantastic observation and a wonderful example of the children sharing their understanding and curiosity!

We are so proud of how engaged and enthusiastic the children have been with their learning. We can’t wait to see what discoveries they make next! 🌈✨

🎓 Today is the day! 🎓

Today we say a final farewell to our wonderful pre-schoolers as they get ready to begin their next exciting adventure at school. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and can't wait to celebrate this special milestone with them.

🌟 Pre-School Graduation starts at 2:00pm.🎓

Parents and carers, please ensure your child is dropped off at nursery by 1:30pm so they have plenty of time to get ready before the ceremony begins.

We can't wait to celebrate with you all and give our amazing pre-schoolers the send-off they deserve! ❤️🎉

We have reached the end of term 6, Nursery will close at 6pm Friday 17th July and will re-open on Tuesday 1st September. We wish all of our families a lovely summer holiday. 📆

🇫🇷 International French Day at Nursery! 🇫🇷

Today we celebrated International French Day, and our toddlers had a wonderful time exploring the sights, sounds, and flavours of France! ❤️🤍💙

Our French-themed tuff tray featured Duplo bricks in the colours of the French flag, alongside pictures of delicious French foods such as croissants and traditional snail dishes, as well as famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the French flag, and the Louvre Museum. The children used their imaginations to create their own amazing builds—some even decided to build a rocket ship! 🚀

We also challenged ourselves to build our own versions of the Eiffel Tower using spaghetti and marshmallows, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

At snack time, everyone enjoyed tasting yummy croissants and Babybel cheese before settling down for group time. We shared a French dual-language story, practised saying farm animal names in French, sang the classic Frère Jacques, and even counted from 1 to 10 in French together!
It was a fantastic day full of fun, learning, creativity, and cultural exploration. Bravo, everyone! 🇫🇷✨

What a fantastic day our Pre-School children had on their visit to Explorers Escape Soft Play at Maidstone Leisure Centre! 🌟

The children were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were polite, well behaved, and represented our Tiger Cubs Nursery beautifully 🐯. Most importantly, they had so much fun climbing, crawling, balancing, exploring, and, of course, getting wonderfully hot and sticky! 😄

A huge thank you to our incredible staff, who put so much time and effort into planning and organising trips like this. There's a great deal of work behind the scenes to make these experiences happen, and we're so grateful for their dedication.

Outings like this are about so much more than having fun. They support many areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping children develop their physical skills through active play, build confidence and resilience as they tackle new challenges, strengthen communication and language through shared experiences, and develop personal, social and emotional skills by working together, taking turns, and encouraging one another. Learning really does happen everywhere!

We are so proud of every one of our children for embracing the adventure with such enthusiasm and positivity. What a wonderful day of learning through play! 💚
