Well, depending on the nature of those messages (and in this example they became of a sexual nature) there is a problem. From October 2026, all employers have a legal obligation to protect their employees from third party harassment.

Do your employees fully understand what constitutes sexual harassment and have you ensured your managers are trained properly on how to handle disclosures and reports of sexual harassment?
