📢 Important Update: Temporary College Closure

🚨 Catch22 College Maidstone is currently closed this morning due to an unexpected water supply issue on site.

The safety and wellbeing of our learners and staff are our priority, and unfortunately we are unable to operate safely without access to running water.

🔧 We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will provide a further update later this morning regarding whether the college will be able to reopen this afternoon.

❗ Please do not send learners to college this morning.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please keep an eye out for updates on here!

🥾 AND THEY’RE OFF! 🗺️

A massive good luck to our incredible students heading out on their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition this weekend!

They’ve spent weeks planning routes, packing (and repacking) their rucksacks, and mastering the art of the camp stove. Now, it’s time to put those navigation skills to the test.

To our adventurers:
Keep your spirits high (even if the hills are steep!).
Look out for one another.
Remember: there is no such thing as getting lost, only "scenic detours." 😉
We can't wait to hear all the stories (and see the muddy boots) when you get back.

Go smash it! ⛺✨

Don’t let a minor sniffle stall your progress! 🚀

We all have days where we wake up feeling a bit under the weather. But did you know that a mild cough, a bit of a runny nose, or a slight scratchy throat shouldn’t automatically mean putting your education on pause?

According to NHS guidance, it is usually perfectly fine to push through mild, everyday bugs. Coming to college keeps your momentum going so you don't fall behind on your practical training, coursework, or career goals.

Why making it to college matters:

Stay on track: It's much easier to keep up with your qualifications than it is to catch up later.

Build workplace habits: Showing up even when you're a little tired or congested is exactly what builds the resilience employers look for.

One-to-one support: Your tutors are right here on site, ready to help you smash your targets and guide you through the tough days.

Stay connected: Being around your peers and the team is way better for your mindset than isolating at home.

Every single day at college is a step closer to your future. If you're well enough to make it in, we're ready to support you! 💙
