The past couple of weeks have been crazy!
When I made these First Day of School cards, I genuinely thought I had left it too late to list them and wouldn’t be seen or sell any… Fast forward a couple of weeks and I’ve now made and sent out over 400 First Day of School cards!
And honestly, I’ve been in survival mode 😂
With it being the school holidays and having two boys at home, I’ve basically been working in every spare minute I can find. A lot of the time that means waiting until the boys are finally asleep, working until 12/1am, being woken up by Leo approximately 20,000 times 🤣 and getting up at 6am and doing it all over again.
Add keeping on top of the housework into the mix and it hasn’t exactly been the easiest few weeks, I do literally feel like a walking zombie 🙃
BUT… I am so grateful! Grateful for every single order, every lovely message and review, every person who has chosen one of my cards for such a special little milestone. It honestly blows my mind that something I wasn’t even sure would sell has now reached 400+ little ones starting their school journey 🥹 with noah starting school next week too, it feels extra special making these cards 😭
This is exactly why I love having my own little business. The flexibility to work around my boys is honestly the best thing ever, even if sometimes that means working in complete chaos and running on very little sleep 😂
We’re nearly at the end of the First Day of School madness now and then roll on Christmas 🤣🎄 I have so many cute ideas I can’t wait to get drawing and sharing !
