Down on the farm !!! 🚜 πŸ˜ƒ In the Caterpillar Hall this week we have included activities such as exploring our Autumn Farm tuff tray ...labelling and extending our vocabulary whilst 'feeding the animals' with the Autumn harvest veg πŸ₯”πŸ₯¦
In our craft we have made fluffy sheep πŸ‘ feathered ducks and painted pink pigs πŸ–πŸ½ aswell as some animal foot prints! πŸ„
Our roleplay this week was the Hospital and our little ones explored the resources for making the 'babies better' and were also very good at answering the phone!! πŸ˜ƒ
We have rolled, squeezed and used the cutters with some squidgy purple playdough...and also enjoyed the still sunny garden time🌞.... practising our gross motor and balancing skills on the beam and also with the bucket stilts. πŸ˜€

Week 3 ...and our little Caterpillars have been busy exploring the Wendy House workshop πŸͺšπŸ”¨..using the tools and workbench. Building with the large lego bricks...and also wooden jenga blocks to construct roads and bridges for our cars. Often helping each other and learning to work together.
Our tuff tray sensory activities included the small digger vehicles to scoop and load with the cereal.
We also practised our fine motor skills with the screwbots and boards.
We played with our favourite superhero figures and made some collage masks.
We painted 🎨 our hands βœ‹οΈ to make prints ...and also enjoyed some waterplay with some added zesty lemons πŸ‹ to squeeze and make 'tea' and 'lemonade'!! πŸ˜ƒ

This week our little caterpillars are continuing to gain in confidence within the setting. πŸ˜ƒ
They are exploring and selecting their own activities ..such as the sand play ..scooping, covering and burying objects to find again πŸ˜ƒ
We ve constructed with small bricks aswell as our large foam blocks !!
We made collage ice creams and drizzled wet glue onto paperplate fish 😁
We demonstrated our balancing skills on the stepping stones ...and took turns to catch magnetic fish with the rods 🐑
We decorated and filled cups with rice and pasta, from our sensory tuff tray... to make shakers.
We also spent time out in the garden too !!!
A second busy week in the Caterpillar Hall !!! πŸ˜€πŸ›
