Paulways Pet Resort is looking for a enthusiastic, hard working, animal loving Kennel Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone for 2 days a week starting 8AM to 5PM. Sometimes will need to start at 7.30AM. You will be expected to work every other weekend.

Duties include:

*Cleaning kennels, kitchens and work areas

*Washing equipment and outside areas

* Walking and socialising all breeds of dogs

*Must be confident in handling and managing canines, felines and small animals

*Have good phone manners with the ability to take bookings and deal with customers

*Messy job not for the light hearted with lots of poo and the need to undertsand that you will be working in all weathers such as snow, heatwaves and the rain

*Able to work independently aswell as in a team, communication and time keeping is a MUST

*Own transport is a MUST as we are located in a rual area, must be in a ten mile radius

We are a small but highly recommended kennels and cattery, we are looking for someone who will be dedicated, able to work under pressure and very reliable. An experienced person would be better suited but training would be avaliable for the right person.

Here' s her story
Hey guys! Just wanted to share my experience today, I attended the Rookie Groomers Challenge, which is a grooming competition specifically for groomers who have never competed before. I was soooo nervous! It was actually the best day ever. Everyone was so sweet, the judges and helpers were so approachable and normal! The day was more educational than anything, and we got an AWESOME goodie bag!

They had free tea and coffee all day and also provided lunch. It was easy going and not really a stressful atmosphere at all. I was in the under one year experience class and placed 2nd with Pippa the Bichon (one of my customers). I had a great day and urge anyone to apply for next year's if you think competing is for you. I'm still on such a high 😂 and obviously could not do any of this without Julie ❤️
