Meet Theo Thunderbolt, Bunny Sunbeam and Rainbow Ted! 🌈

Theo Thunderbolt, Bunny Sunbeam and Rainbow Ted are our special nursery friends who love going on adventures with the children. They take turns visiting homes to encourage outdoor learning, explore nature, share special family moments and celebrate important occasions. Children can record their adventures, photos and memories to share with their friends back at nursery.

If you would like to one of our friends home please speak to your key person.

Rainbow Ted is currently enjoying a holiday adventure and can’t wait to tell us all about it when he returns! 🌞

We look forward to hearing all about the wonderful experiences our travelling friends have along the way. 💙

💙 Learning from one another 💙

Sometimes the best learning happens when children learn together. 🥰

A little helping hand, a moment of kindness, and an everyday routine like handwashing becomes an opportunity to build confidence, independence and caring relationships. ⚡️🫧

At Blue Sky, we love seeing our children supporting one another. 💙

❤️ Keeping Mealtimes Safe at Blue Sky

Every child deserves to enjoy mealtimes feeling safe, included and cared for. 🌈

Our meals are served in our dedicated dining room, creating a relaxed, social space where children can enjoy mealtimes together.

We take allergies and dietary requirements seriously. Our red plates, bowls and cups provide a clear visual reminder for children with identified dietary needs and an additional layer of safety for our team.

From communication with families to careful food preparation and serving, we make sure every child’s individual needs are understood and followed.

Because keeping little tummies safe is just as important as filling them! ❤️

Creative play is so much more than making something beautiful. It gives children the freedom to explore, experiment, imagine and express themselves in their own unique way.

Whether they’re painting, building, dressing up, creating with natural materials or simply following their own ideas, children are developing confidence, problem-solving skills, communication, fine motor skills and a wonderful sense of curiosity. 🌱

At Blue Sky, we believe in giving children the time, space and freedom to create, discover and make their own mark on the world. 💙🌈

Our Thunderbolts and Rainbows have enjoyed exploring their book of the week, Owl Babies, and have started to talk about autumn. The children have created their own owls, explored trees and leaves and made guesses about whose apple would roll the furthest!
