💚 Macmillan Bake Sale 💚

Yesterday, our wonderful children got stuck in and had the best time baking some delicious cakes and treats for our Macmillan Bake Sale! 🧁🍰

We couldn’t be prouder of all of our amazing children for getting involved, having fun and showing such wonderful enthusiasm throughout the day. It was so lovely to see them working together and enjoying themselves while raising money for such an important cause. 💚

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents for your incredibly generous donations. Thanks to everyone’s support, we are so pleased to share that we raised an amazing £155! 🎉👏

We are truly grateful to every single person who got involved. Macmillan is a charity that touches so many families, and being able to come together as a community to support such a special cause is really amazing to see. 💚

We would also like to say a big thank you to all of the parents who suggested holding more charity events. We’ve listened, and we’ll be organising more charity events moving forward, so keep an eye out for our flyers! 👀💚

Today, the Toddler Room explored the changing seasons, with a particular focus on Autumn. To support the development of new vocabulary and communication skills, the children discussed the changes they can observe during this season and what signs of Autumn they can look out for in their environment.

The children were encouraged to share their ideas, observations and experiences, helping to build their confidence in expressing themselves and developing their understanding of seasonal changes.

Today, the Babies 1 room focused on the theme of autumn through an engaging sensory and texture-based activity. The children had the opportunity to explore a variety of autumn leaves with different textures, alongside a selection of bugs and insects that we may commonly find during the autumn season.

The activity encouraged the children to explore different textures using their senses while developing their curiosity and understanding of the natural world.

Today, the Babies 2 room focused on developing the children’s fine motor skills through an engaging activity using natural resources. The children practised their hand and eye coordination and dexterity by wrapping ribbons around the resources.

The children have also been working on their counting skills, looking at the number of animals and counting different parts such as legs, eyes and spots!
