Our Montessori Colour Ball Organiser has been a big hit in the nursery this week!🌈

The children in bumblebee room enjoyed using their fine motor skills to pick up the coloured balls with their tweezers and place them in the right tube.
They spoke about the different colours and what colours we could mix together to get our prime colours.

Well done Bumble bees 😄

Today at nursery, our butterflies became big heroes! 🌍✨

The children had so much fun dressing up as people who help us around the world — from doctors and nurses to firefighters, teachers, police officers, and even community helpers we see every day.

Through imaginative play, they explored the importance of kindness, teamwork, and helping others. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine and hear them talk about how they can make a difference, no matter how small. We spoke about the importance of sharing and looking after people around us.

Today in Bumblebee Room, the children had a wonderful time making cheese scones! 🧀

The children explored mixing, pouring, and shaping the dough, developing their fine motor skills and confidence along the way. There were lots of smiles (and a little flour on the floor!) as everyone took turns and shared.

We talked about the ingredients we were using, how they change when mixed together, and of course enjoyed the delicious smell as the scones baked.

A fantastic hands-on learning experience for our busy Bumblebees.

🍊 Fresh Orange Juice Fun! 🍊

Our Bumblebees had a wonderful time squeezing their own oranges to make fresh orange juice! They worked hard using their hands to press and squeeze, building their strength and coordination.

We talked about how oranges are grown, where they come from, and how they travel to reach our shops. The children were very interested to learn that oranges grow on trees in warm countries.

A fun, tasty, and educational experience for everyone! 🍊😊
