Tomorrow, at Tyland Barn Wildlife Centre, we'll be learning all about our muscles. We'll take a look at the muscles in our body, where they are and what they do as well as testing our own muscles and seeing our muscles work all by themselves.

We are starting off our new block of weekend science sessions this weekend with Bones. Join us at Singleton Environment Centre on Saturday or at Tyland Barn Wildlife Centre on Sunday to investigate the structure of your body and create a model of the amazing backbone.

There are so many benefits to teaching science to children. Even pre-school children benefit hugely from the fine and gross motor skills, language development, mathematic understanding and learning about the world around them.
In our science sessions children have the opportunity to practice a wide range of skills whilst having fun and socialising with others.

British Science Week starts this Friday so why not celebrate all things science by joining us for a fun filled science class this weekend. You can book a one off session of Chromatography at Singleton Environment Centre on Saturday or at Tyland Barn Wildlife Centre on Sunday. Classes run at 10am or 11am and are suitable for children aged 2 - 8 years.
