It is with great sadness that we share the news that Ray Harris, Member of Future Schools Trust, has recently passed away.

Ray has been closely connected with our organisation since its inception. Prior to the Trust’s formation, he was Chair of Governors for The Cornwallis School and led the Federation that later became Future Schools Trust. He was Chair of the Board of Trustees for many years as well as being a Director of Cornwallis Online, the company that sponsored the creation of the Trust in 2007, alongside support from KCC.

Since that time, Ray has remained a committed supporter of our schools and local community, where he was a resident. After standing down as Chair of Trustees, Ray continued to serve as a Member of Future Schools Trust. His dedication, insight and steadfast support have been an important part of the Trust’s journey from its earliest beginnings to where we are today.

We extend our sincere condolences to Ray’s family, friends and all those who knew him. He will be remembered with fondness by everyone who had the pleasure of working with him and gratitude for the contribution he made to our community over many years.
