Laddingford St Mary's CEP School

We are very excited that over the October half term, KCC will be beginning works to upgrade our school.

The work will involve the construction of a new fire exit door and evacuation pathway to Russet classroom. We will also be erecting new fencing to the left of the main entrance. This will mean that our KS1 children will have access to an outdoor space, opening up lots of opportunities to extend their learning outdoors and apply some of our amazing forest school experiences within our classroom learning.

We will post updates as the work begins.

As part of our inclusion strategy, all staff completed the first of 3 CPD twilights this evening learning makaton.

Bramley Class

What an incredible few days you have had on your PGL residential! Every single one of you achieved a first — whether that was staying away from home for the first time, trying something new, or taking on an adrenaline-filled adventure high above the ground!

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Your behaviour, resilience, enthusiasm and teamwork have been fantastic, and you have represented our school brilliantly throughout the week.

You should all be very proud of yourselves — what an achievement!

A huge thank you The Chequers Inn Laddingford for the opportunity to take part in the Fruit and Veg show. Our children loved creating their artwork and were extremely proud of their rosettes.

Reports from residential: most children asleep by 11:30, most awake by 6am. An action packed day for Bramley class today followed by dinner then a campfire.
