At St Simon Stock Catholic School, one of our core values, Responsibility, guides everything we do in the best interests of our students.

In light of how AI and digital tools are evolving, we are updating how we share photos and student names across out social media platforms and website. As an educational institution, part of our duty of care is leading by example and modelling smart, safe digital citizenship for our students.
We will continue to share the vibrant life of our school, celebrate student achievements, and highlight special events. We’re simply adopting a more thoughtful approach to how names and faces are published online to protect our community.

For children starting Year 7 in September 2027, applications are now open.

Our school participates in the Kent County Council Co-ordinated Admission Scheme.
All applicants for a Year 7 place will need to apply online via Kent County Council (or your local council if you are a resident of another county).

In addition, please also complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF) 2027–2028, which can be found on our website, if applicable. For example, if your child:

-is a baptised Catholic;

-has a sibling already at our school;

-is in Year 6 and attends one of our Catholic partner primary schools;

-has a parent who is a member of staff;

-is committed to another Christian denomination or other faith.

Please return the completed Supplementary Information Form (SIF) 2027–2028 to the Admissions Officer at the school (not Kent County Council) no later than 31 October 2026, so that we may rank your application.

Flowers & Prayers of Hope for Our Lady of Mount Carmel

As we prepare to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at next week's Mass, we invite all members of our school community to take part in this special tradition.

You are warmly invited to donate either:

🌼 Flowers to be laid at the feet of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, or
🙏 A Prayer of Hope to be offered during our celebration.

A flower may be given:
• In memory of a loved one
• For a special prayer intention
• In thanksgiving
• As a sign of gratitude

If you would like to make a donation, please ensure your flowers or written prayers are received by Wednesday 15 July, 12pm.

On Thursday 16 July, Stocky staff & students will come together to celebrate Carmel Day.

Our amazing Sixth Form students have organised a fantastic range of stalls, games and activities for everyone to enjoy, all while raising money for two incredible charities: Aylesford Priory and Heart of Kent Hospice.

💰 Students: Please remember to bring some cash if you'd like to take part in the stalls and activities.

Let's make it a day filled with fun, generosity and school spirit.
