13 children under 11 years died in the last 6 years after falling out of a window.

They weren’t protected by a window lock or restrictor because:
• One wasn’t fitted
• There was one, but it was broken
• There was one, but it had been disabled

If your window won’t lock or you need to open the window wider because of heat or cooking, please don’t leave young children alone in the room. If you have to leave the room take your child with you.

✨🧸This week in Pre-School! 🚽✨

This week we've set up some lovely activities for the children to explore. Katy has set up a lovely teddy bears picnic, encouraging imaginative play & conversations with peers 🧺🧸

Lianne has created a potty/toilet training set-up to support independence with toileting & self-care routines. Using books, dolls and familiar resources, we'll be encouraging discussions about self-care routines whilst celebrating the children's achievements and growing confidence 🚽🌟

🦁🐛 This week in Baby Room! 📚✨

Naomi has created a zoo small world set-up and Katie has created a lovely 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' invitation to play. We can't wait to see the children explore the animals & different resources whilst enjoying the stories together🦋🦒

This week's Baby Room setup is inspired by Moana after hearing how much some of our children have been enjoying the film at home! 🌊

Nik has created a lovely setup incorporating numbers, sea creatures, shells and lots of Moana-themed elements for the children to explore and enjoy throughout the week🌺🐚
