A lot of these same characteristics I bring to the tutoring sessions. I don’t make apologies for who I am and I know parents can find my methods very intense. I believe in rigorous and consistent practice and if tutees buy into this they will make gains. Following on from my previous reel- I dig deeper into what creates accelerated progress in school level maths. I always recommend students doing a variety of questions as opposed to doing lots of basic style problems. Your final exams will have questions that incorporate challenge and problem solving so if tutees build this into their practice they will be able to build exam resilience.
