Palace Wood Primary School

Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Hampton Court Palace today! 🏰 We stepped back in time to learn all about Henry VIII, explored the magnificent palace, and discovered what life was like during Tudor times. A wonderful day full of history, learning, and fun!

Year 5 had a fantastic time at swimming today! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️
The children finished the session with a fun challenge, collecting objects from the bottom of the pool. It was great to see their confidence, determination, and teamwork on display.

Year 4 made a SPLASH today in the new pop up pool! 💦

🎉 **YEAR 6 RESIDENTIAL 2026 – COMPLETE!** 🎉

What an unbelievable week it’s been! Our amazing Year 6s have officially wrapped up their 2026 residential, and wow… they have been absolute superstars from start to finish. 🌟

They’ve given us memories we’ll be talking about for years — from the belly laughs to the brave moments, the teamwork, the kindness, and the endless enthusiasm. They’ve truly been a credit to Palace Wood Primary School, representing us with pride, positivity, and plenty of smiles.

We could not be prouder of each and every one of them. 💛💙

Now it’s time for a well‑deserved half‑term break— we hope they get plenty of rest, recharge those batteries, and enjoy every moment!

Day 4 at Cuffley Camp.
Our final full day completed! The kids have been absolutely brilliant and have enjoyed every minute. We have done rock climbing, zip wiring, problem solving, archery and axe throwing today. Everyone is looking forward to dinner and an epic game of manhunt in the woods tonight! Last night but still plenty of fun to be had!

Day 3 at Cuffley Camp!
Another packed day of activities including climbing the high ropes, an epic contest in tag archery and navigating the nightline! The children have been unbelievable! Just getting ready for tonight’s feast - a BBQ!

Assemblies are in full swing with the Kent Fire and Rescue Service this morning. 🔥

Year 6 didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits today. Between high ropes, fire building, laser tag and racing buggies they have enjoyed their first full day at Cuffley active learning Centre. Tonight‘s dinner is Pizza cooked in the wood burner – all children are super excited. 🍕 🍕

A fun afternoon spent den building, playing laser tag and getting a little bit wet!! Off for some dinner now before the camp fire this evening.
