Today, we welcomed Year 2 families to school for a transition event. Parents attended a short talk about life in Year 3, offering insights into routines, expectations and the exciting move to the Coles building.
Afterwards, Year 2 pupils met their Year 5 buddies and along with their families, toured the Coles building together, helping them feel more at ease about the transition. The afternoon ended with tea, coffee and scones with jam and cream, enjoyed by all!
We hope families found the event informative and that the children are feeling excited for the next step.

Last week, Year 3 enjoyed a sleepover at school. On Thursday afternoon, they made the most of the sunshine with a range of team games, learning how patience and working together can help achieve success. They then set up their beds for the night in the Pre-Prep hall before heading to dinner.
The following morning, Mr Evans led a walk around the village, where pupils learned about its history. The visit ended at the Senior School Archive, where Mr Pickard shared some fascinating facts, including a photo of Mrs Dallamore from her time at school!
It was a brilliant couple of days, with pupils fully engaged.
