As our 450th anniversary celebrations drew to a close, Celebration Day at the Prep School provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our pupils throughout the year.
The day began with prize-giving ceremonies, with awards presented to our Pre-Prep pupils in the morning and our Prep pupils in the afternoon, recognising their hard work, progress, talent and commitment across all aspects of school life.
Families, pupils and staff then came together to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, making the day a fitting end to both a successful academic year and our memorable 450th anniversary celebrations.
Congratulations to all of our prize winners and to every pupil for their enthusiasm, determination and achievements this year. We wish everyone a happy and restful summer break.

The Year 6 Leavers enjoyed a Colour Run as the final activity in their Leavers' Programme this summer. Taking place shortly after the formal and reflective Leavers' Service, it was a fun way to round off their time at the School.
Parents and teachers joined in the run before everyone picked up water pistols to help wash away the paint!

On Friday, Year 6 took part in a Careers Fair, where they heard from a range of parents about their professions and career journeys. From physiotherapy and speech therapy to music management and law, pupils gained a valuable insight into a variety of roles and industries.
The children asked thoughtful questions and showed great curiosity throughout the event, with the opportunity to sit in a police car proving a particular highlight!
Thank you to everyone who gave their time to speak to the pupils and help make the event such a success.

On Tuesday Year 1 visited Port Lympne Animal Park, where they enjoyed a safari truck ride and met a very inquisitive camel. They explored the zoo, spotting a range of animals and watching a bear splashing in the water.
The children were pleased to recognise some of the “Big Five” from their learning and could confidently identify carnivores and herbivores. The day finished with an ice lolly in the sunshine!

For the first time, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils joined the Prep School Sports Day on Saturday, held at the Senior School athletics track. Pupils took part in a full programme of events, including 80m, 100m, 200m, 800m and 1500m races, relays, as well as field events such as long jump, high jump, vortex throw and javelin.
