πβ¨ This Wednesday is National Thank a Teacher Day! β¨π
At St Augustine Academy, we're looking forward to celebrating the incredible teachers and support staff who make such a positive difference to our students every day.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to write a thank you card to a member of staff who has supported, encouraged or inspired them this year.
We would also love to hear from our parents, carers and wider community. If a member of staff has made a positive impact on your child's learning, wellbeing or school experience, please consider sharing a message of thanks through the official Thank a Teacher website.
π A few kind words can mean so much and are a wonderful way to recognise the dedication, care and encouragement our staff provide every day.

ποΈ Year 8 Student Achievement β Owen's Incredible Charity Challenge ποΈ
We are incredibly proud of Owen Williams in Year 8, who completed an inspiring charity challenge during the half-term break.
Owen set out to climb Scafell Pike in the Lake District to raise money for the hospice that cared for his grandad. Not only did he achieve his goal, but he went even further than planned, conquering two mountains and covering an impressive 14 kilometres on foot!
This remarkable achievement reflects our core values at St Augustine Academy:
π Courage β taking on a demanding physical challenge
π Compassion β raising money for a cause close to his family's heart
π Community β supporting the incredible work of the hospice
Owen's determination, kindness and commitment have made us all extremely proud. He is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when resilience and purpose come together.
π Congratulations, Owen β you are a credit to yourself, your family and our school community.
