We will be planning to go ahead despite the numbers next week although, we are hoping for a better turn out so we can show you what Gooey Gremlins is all about.

Good Morning our Gremlin parents,

Unfortunately we have had to cancel today's session as we haven't managed to sell the minimum amount to cover the costs to run this group.

Anyone that has purchased a ticket, will receive a full refund.

We are so sorry we have had to do this on our first session back.

We would appreciate it if you could spread the word and let others know about Gooey Gremlins and invite them over too. It's great fun for the kiddies and it gives us parents an opportunity to socialise and share experiences.

What to expect when you come to one of our sessions;

A soft play area for kids who don't like to get messy, there will also be a minimum of 5 large tuff trays with the current theme for that weekly session, 1 of the tuff trays being edible. A crafts area for our creative gremlins. Some snacks for the children to munch on will be provided and dilute juice.

We focus on all of the five senses, which keeps your children stimulated and aids them to learn from different environments, activating different parts of their brain.

We hope to have a better turn out next week and remember to tell a friend to tell a friend.

Halloween Messy Play Set Up At Home;

Who doesn't have a tin of baked beans at the back of the cupboard?
- Why not make this into a fun exercise, for your little one to enjoy.
- You can find these squeeze mouse's in the £1 store.

👅 They will taste the tomato sauce in the beans.

✋ Squish the beans between their finger tips to discover what's inside

👂 Listen to the squeak that the mouse's make

👀 Move the mouse's through the beans and pretend that they're eating it (you can turn this into a bit of role play) aid their imagination.

By taking your child to Sensory play groups it helps to build nerve connections in the brain and learn from their environment, giving your child a head start.

Some sensory activities that can help stimulate your child's brain are:

💚 Taste sweet vs sour, cut and remove the seeds of an orange and a lemon for your little ones to taste.

Pre-school- Ask your child to explain the difference between the two fruits and ask which one they prefer. This will help aid their communication and decision making.

🧡 Water play, using primary colours of food coloured dye and fill bottles with different colours, your child can then make different colours by mixing them up, educating your little one on the secondary colours.

Pre-school- You can add pippets and funnels to help fine tune your little ones motor skills and co-ordination.

💛 Fill a tub of water beads and put objects in it, which your child has to find and take out.

Pre-school- To challenge them even further, time them and see how many they can take out in 30 seconds and ask them to explain what they have found.
