Kent Academy of Musical Theatre is excited to be casting our brand-new original Christmas comedy…

🎅 SANTA’S LAST NERVE! 🤶

A hilarious, tongue-in-cheek, panto-style Christmas comedy packed with larger-than-life characters, audience interaction, festive chaos and plenty of laughs!

We’re looking for confident adult actors and comedy performers to bring our wonderfully dysfunctional Christmas HQ to life.

✨ ROLES INCLUDE:

🎅 Santa – Playing age 40–70 – Lead
🤶 Mrs Claus – Playing age 40–70 – Lead
🧝 Holly – Major supporting role
🎁 Barry – Major supporting comedy role
🧚 Carol – Larger-than-life Christmas Fairy
📋 Noel – Dry, rule-obsessed HR manager
💼 Nick Prime – Our charismatic corporate villain!

Many roles can be gender-flexible, so we’re interested in hearing from a wide range of performers.

🎭 AUDITIONS: Tuesday 1st September
💷 Audition fee: £5
🎬 REHEARSALS: Tuesdays, 7.30pm–10pm from 15th September
🎟️ PERFORMANCE: Saturday 28th November

🎶 SINGING IS NOT ESSENTIAL!
This is primarily an acting/comedy production. There will, however, be opportunities for performers who would also like to be considered for optional vocal moments within the show.

Auditionees will prepare two contrasting script extracts for their chosen character.

Think Christmas magic meets workplace chaos, with a little bit of panto, plenty of cheeky humour and a LOT of festive mayhem. 😂🎄

✨ WOW WEDNESDAY ✨

A huge congratulations to our incredible student, Pip! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Pip, who has achieved an amazing Distinction in his very first LAMDA exam! 👏🎭

This achievement is even more special because Pip faced a challenging term however, his passion for acting, determination to succeed and commitment to practising at home never wavered. Alongside his LAMDA lessons at school and everything he has learned through his KAMT performances, Pip walked into his exam with confidence and delivered an outstanding performance.

His result is a wonderful reminder that dedication, perseverance and a love for performing really do pay off. 💜
