Today we had a visit from Tim the Coxheath School crossing patrol officer. He spoke to the children about road safety and they all got to have photos done with the crossing patrol sign.

Today Jerry from Our Amazing Animal World brought Daphne the Hedgehog, Gloria the Chinchilla, Sinita the Guinea Pig, Barbara the Bearded Dragon, Ernest the Tortoise and Elizabeth the Royal Python, to meet us.
We had an amazing interactive experience with the animals. We got to stroke, hold and learn all about them. Everyone was so gentle and very brave as they each got to have Gloria sit on their heads and Elizabeth round their shoulders!

On Thursday we had Maidstone Fire service come and visit us. The children had the opportunity to have a seat inside the fire engine, learn all about the equipment used and hear the sirens as the team left.
Miss Lloyd had fun too dressing up in the Fire Safety uniform.
Many thanks to the team for the wonderful interactive experience the children had from their visit. We look forward to seeing you next year. πŸš’

Today we made french stick pizza slices πŸ•
The children had the choice of homemade tomato sauce, cheese and ham to make their own slices to take home and enjoy.

A big thank you to Tesco in Coxheath for the donation of french sticks πŸ₯–

As our topic for the week is farm animals we were very lucky to have a visit from Dolly and Daisy at Preschool today. The children loved seeing them, stroking them and watching them eat apples πŸ₯°πŸ΄
