Our Little Moles and EYFS children had the absolute best time on their beach adventure today!
From building giant sandcastles and digging in the sand, to jumping over little waves and cooling down with yummy ice lollies. It was the perfect, sunny way to celebrate and end a truly fantastic year of learning. 😎🍦

Please be reminded we are finishing early tomorrow. Collection is at 1:15pm and we are not running afterschool club 🙂

Sensational primary results- Key Stage 2 results, 2026 (provisional)

On 16 July, Leigh Academies Trust (LAT) received their Key Stage 2 results for 2026 across fifteen primary academies. 85% of LAT pupils achieved the combined expected standard compared to the national average of 63%. All academies were well above the national average, which is a remarkable achievement.

It is clear that pupils continue to get off to a flying start in LAT primary academies and their results are testament to the exceptional work of our dedicated staff. It is no surprise that 75% of LAT primary academies were judged “Outstanding” by Ofsted under the old inspection framework and that Ofsted has awarded multiple “Exceptional” grades in the Trust’s two primary inspections since November 2025 under the new framework. This is far in excess of the proportion of primaries nationally to achieve such accolades.

Little Moles and EYFS children have arrived safely at the beach and have started digging away. It’s going to be a fantastic day.

Please note we are back to normal school uniform this week now we have some nice lower temperatures back. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for our last week of school year.

The Friends of Molehill PTA Colour Run and Summer Fayre was a massive hit! We had an incredible turnout, lots of laughs, and colour absolutely everywhere.

A huge thank you to everyone in our amazing community who came out to take part and support the stalls. Events like this wouldn't be possible without you.

Most importantly, a massive shout-out to the Friends of Molehill PTA team. Your weeks of hard work, planning, and dedication made this day a phenomenal success. Thank you for everything you do for our school!
